Can you identify a whole grain?

My community nutrition group headed over to the Manchester ShopRite today to participate in a Cooking Matters event. We talked with customers about whole grains, and had them see if they could identify which of the three breads on our table were whole grain breads. (Hint: Look at the first ingredient on the label! Whole wheat must say "whole wheat flour" not just "wheat flour". The caveat is that multigrain breads that list a whole grain as the first ingredient and refined grains as the next few ingredients may actually be primarily made of refined grain by weight.) Customers who visited the table set up for each food group received a $10 ShopRite gift card!
